FINISH SAUNA

The sauna is healthy for your body and mind & provides rest and relaxation.

  • The ideal temperature of a Finnish sauna is between 80 and 100 degrees Celsius with a low humidity of 5 to 20%.
  • The air is heated by means of a heater. At your discretion, you can pour water over the stones to create steam. This increases the humidity in the sauna.
  • A session in the Finnish sauna lasts 8 to 15 minutes.

HEATING

The sauna must warm up before it is ready for use.

  • The control panel is located inside the sauna to the left of the door.
  • Use the center button to turn on the lighting
  • Check that the safety button inside next to the door is not pressed down by turning it slightly
  • Press the left button on the oven to switch it on for 60 minutes
  • Do not use the Finnish sauna and infrared at the same time
  • After 30 minutes the sauna is ready for use.

PREPARATION

  • Prepare well for a sauna visit.
  • Never enter the sauna in a hurry
  • Make sure you have eaten and drunk enough, alcohol is not recommended
  • After physical exertion, wait 15 to 30 minutes before using the sauna
  • Have a large towel ready to sit or lie on
  • Before entering the sauna, take a shower and then dry off thoroughly
  • Leave slippers or other footwear outside the sauna room

IN THE SAUNA

  • Everyone experiences a sauna visit differently. It is important that you set your own time and feel comfortable at all times.
  • Take 10-15 minutes per sauna session
  • Listen to your body to determine your sauna time
  • Children up to 4 years old cannot yet regulate their body temperature well on their own, therefore we do not recommend letting them enter the sauna under this age. 
  • In the sauna, always sit or lie down on a towel.
  • Less experienced sauna visitors should start on the bottom bench where the temperature is lowest.
  • You can immediately turn off the sauna oven at all times by pressing the red emergency button. This can be restored by turning it one turn.

Heat up

The sauna must heat up before it is ready for use.

The control panel is located in the sauna to the left of the door.
Use the middle button to switch on the lighting.
Check that the red safety button is not pressed. Otherwise, turn it a small turn clockwise. The safety button is located on the inside of the sauna next to the door.
Press the left button to turn on the Finnish sauna for 60 minutes.
Or press the right button to turn on the infrared sauna for 20 minutes.
Do not use the Finnish sauna and the infrared at the same time.
